How To Prepare For Cheeks Laser Hair Removal Procedure
• Make sure your skin is clean and free of creams, oils, and makeup before your session.
• Avoid waxing, tweezing, bleaching, or using hair removal creams for at least two weeks before treatment.
• Inform your technician if you are taking antibiotics, retinol, Accutane, or any medications that increase sun sensitivity.
• Share any relevant medical history, including skin conditions, with your laser technician.
• If you are prone to cold sores, consider taking preventive medication 4–10 days before treatment.
• Let your technician know if you have ever had cosmetic tattoos, pigmentation treatments, or permanent makeup near the treatment area.
Customized Treatment Plan for Every Client
Our cheek laser hair removal treatment is safe and effective for all skin tones. For lighter skin types (I–III), we use the Alexandrite (755 nm) wavelength, while the Nd:YAG (1064 nm) wavelength is ideal for darker skin tones (IV–VI). Before your procedure, we’ll schedule a complimentary consultation to assess your skin type, hair color, and medical history. This allows us to create a personalized treatment plan and confirm that the procedure is right for you.
Important Note
Cheek laser hair removal can be safely performed on tanned skin as long as the tan is not recent. We recommend avoiding sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 1–2 weeks before treatment. Please note that laser hair removal is most effective on darker hair colors such as brown and black.
