• Remove any creams, lotions, or oils from the treatment area.
• Shave the area before your scheduled appointment.
• Avoid waxing, tweezing, bleaching, or using depilatory creams for at least two weeks before treatment.
• Inform your technician if you are taking antibiotics, retinol, Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitive medications.
• Let your laser technician know about any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or previous laser treatments.
• If you are prone to cold sores, take preventive medication 4–10 days before treatment.
• Inform your technician if you have had cosmetic tattoos, pigmentation treatments, or permanent makeup near the treatment area.
