Getting Ready for Your Treatment
Ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup, creams, or oils before your session.
Avoid waxing, tweezing, bleaching, or using hair removal creams for at least two weeks prior to your treatment.
Let your technician know if you’re taking antibiotics, retinol, Accutane, or any medications that increase sun sensitivity.
Share any relevant medical history, including skin conditions, with your laser technician.
If you’re prone to cold sores, consider taking preventative medication 4–10 days before your treatment.
Inform your technician if you’ve ever had cosmetic tattoos, pigmentation, or permanent makeup near the treatment area.
Individualized Care for Every Skin Type
Laser hair removal is safe and effective for all skin types. For lighter skin types (I-III), we use the Alexandrite (755nm) wavelength, while the Nd:Yag (1064nm) wavelength is ideal for darker skin types (IV-VI). Before the procedure, we’ll schedule a complimentary consultation to assess your skin type, hair color, and medical history. During this session, we’ll also discuss your personalized treatment plan and determine if you're a suitable candidate for the procedure.
Important Notice
Laser hair removal treatments can be safely performed on tanned skin, as long as the tan is not recent. We strongly recommend avoiding sun exposure, tanning beds, and tanning creams for at least 1 to 2 weeks before your appointment. Additionally, please note that laser hair removal is most effective on brown and black hair.
