At Ecous Laser Boutique we give every client a detailed post-care guide, but here’s what you should keep in mind after your laser hair reduction appointment.

Essential Post-Treatment Care

• Don’t rub, scratch, or pick the treated area. Allow any crusts to fall off naturally.

• Apply moisturizer frequently or use aloe vera to soothe the skin.

• Avoid shaving if swelling or scabbing is present.

• If swelling occurs, use ice wrapped in a cloth.

• For inflammation or scabbing, apply hydrocortisone 1% or antibiotic cream for 2–3 days.

• Temporary itching or pigment changes may occur — this is normal and typically fades.

• Avoid deodorants, hot tubs, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours.

• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners. Always use SPF 30+ sunscreen.

• Do not wax, tweeze, bleach, or use depilatories during your series. Shaving is the only approved method.

• Avoid chemical peels or irritants like Retin-A or benzoyl peroxide.

• Begin gentle exfoliation 2–4 weeks after treatment to help shed treated hair.
